Remembrance Day in Etobicoke

Every year on November 11, Canadians acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country during times of war, military conflict and peace. Remembrance Day is a time for all residents to honour, celebrate and remember those who fought for Canada. This year marks the 69th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The PEO Etobicoke Chapter continued its tradition of placing a wreath on behalf of the Professional Engineers of Ontario Etobicoke Chapter. The ceremony took place at 10:15 am on November 11, 2016 at the Etobicoke Civic Centre.

Several members of the Etobicoke chapter attended the ceremony and placed the Professional Engineers of Ontario Etobicoke Chapter Wreath. Those in attendance included Jerry Friedrich, Harvey Pellegrini, and George Comrie.
