Every year on November 11, Canadians acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country during times of war, military conflict and peace. Remembrance Day is a time for all residents to honour, celebrate and remember those who fought for Canada. This year marks the 69th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
