Every year on November 11, Canadians acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country during times of war, military conflict and peace. Remembrance Day is a time for all residents to honour, celebrate and remember those who fought for Canada. This year marks the 68th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The PEO Etobicoke Chapter was proud to participate and lay a wreath on behalf of the chapter. We would like to thank the City of Toronto and The Royal Canadian Legion for their efforts organizing the moving event.
